Do not inflate every balloon to its labeled maximum. Vary the 11-inch balloons between approximately 7 and 10 inches, and keep 5-inch balloons between 3 and 5 inches. Round balloons look more refined than pear-shaped balloons.

Step 2: Inflate, size and build transportable sections

Rotate adjacent quads in different directions and add two or three larger balloons at structural anchors. Depth should come from layered clusters—not random 5-inch fillers.

The colors look striped

Break up repeated colors when assembling quads. Move one complete module instead of detaching many individual balloons.

The frame leans forward

Stop immediately, remove balloon weight and reassess the frame, base plates and ballast. Never use extra balloons to hide an unstable structure.

Balloons keep popping near greenery

Inspect every stem for exposed wire, rough plastic seams and heat. Wrap contact points and keep balloons away from direct sun and hot lighting.
