Step-by-step build
1. Map the color lanes on paper
Draw a 10-by-8 rectangle and divide it into 24 vertical cord positions. Sketch five diagonal lanes, varying each from 12 to 24 inches thick. Let the oxblood band enter low on one side, the saffron lane cross near the center, and the blackberry lane carry the strongest visual weight. Mark two open windows where the cord will stay visible. This simple map prevents the installation from turning into an ordinary garland.
2. Assemble, level, and ballast the loom
