Step 1: Inventory
the complete installation

Caption: Confirm every balloon size, frame piece, weight,
numeral, panel and attachment tool before inflation begins.

Lay out the frame, four weights, panels, cap pieces, numerals, pump,
balloon colors, strip, ties, plinths, florals, level and tape measure.
Test every illuminated numeral on a protected circuit before transport.
Never run cords beneath unstable bases or through a guest walkway.

Step 2:
Assemble, level and weight the empty structure

Caption: Build the architectural structure first and verify every
floor contact point before adding balloons.

Assemble the frame according to its manufacturer. Protect the floor,
level both uprights and attach the required ballast. The ivory panel and
graduation-cap silhouette should have their own floor-supported bases;
they are visual layers, not balloon anchors. Place the numerals after
the structure is stable, leaving cord access behind the stage.

Step 3: Build five
manageable garland modules

Caption: Five independently handled modules make the top sweep
safer to lift and easier to balance.

Inflate balloons to round shapes. Pair balloons into duplets, twist
duplets into quads, then feed quads into decorating strip. Build a
lower-left base, a left rise, two top modules and one right cascade.
Reserve most five-inch balloons for gap filling after attachment.

Step 4: Install from
the stable base upward

Caption: The halfway stage keeps the right frame visible so each
mechanical tie and load path can be checked.

Attach the base first and the left rise second. Two people should
lift each overhead module. Tie the top section at three or more
independent points and distribute load across the metal frame. Do not
attach the main garland to the lightweight ivory panels or cap
silhouette.

Step 5:
Complete the sweep and add controlled detail

Attach the remaining top and right modules. Use five-inch balloons to
close visible gaps, then place copper accents where the eye changes
direction. Group orchids in two or three intentional moments. Keep the
center of the ivory panel and the cap silhouette readable.

Step 6:
Complete the electrical and safety inspection

• Follow each numeral manufacturer’s indoor/outdoor rating and power
  guidance.
• Use only venue-approved outlets and cord covers.
• Keep all exits, sprinklers and accessibility routes clear.
• Recheck frame connections after 20 minutes and before guests
  enter.
• Do not allow children to climb, pull or sit on any décor
  component.

Troubleshooting

• Top sweep sags: add an independent tie to the steel
  frame; never over-tighten one tie until the frame bends.
• Plum looks too dark: place pearl ivory beside the
  deepest clusters and improve front lighting.
• Numerals disappear: reduce balloons around their
  outline and keep foliage below the lighted faces.
• Large balloons dominate: move the largest pieces to
  the base, top crest and right turning point.
• Panel shifts: remove décor, correct its
  floor-supported base and rebuild; never hide instability with
  balloons.
